War crimes action: Arrested Serbs from Suhogerrla

Investigators from the Directorate for Investigation of War Crimes in the Kosovo Police, following intensive work and professional investigation, “have conducted investigative actions related to the murder of six) Albanian civilians in the village of Syrigana, the Skyeraj municipality, during the period Maywrshor 1998. Material evidence and relevant evidence have been provided in this process, as well as identified persons suspected of being compiled criminal gossip and handed over to Special Prosecutor”, police report.
Police stress that in continuous co-ordination with the prosecutor of the case, investigators have taken additional investigative action, a conform legal authorisation. As a result of collected evidence and evidence, the special prosecutor has authorized the enterprise of actions to locate and arrest suspects.
Now, on 01.03.26, starting at 0600, investigators from the War Crimes Investigation Directorate, supported by the Special Operations Unit, have implemented the operational plan “S YRIGANA”, in six (6) divided locations five (5) in the Skywright municipality and one (1) in North Mitrovica dealt with five (5) suspected persons, the report follows.
During the implementation of the operation, the special prosecutor has provided verbal warrants for the raid, adopted by the Pre-Procedure Procedure Judge in Pristina Foundation Court. The raids are carried out on residential facilities and supporting objects, where they have been confiscated: “1 weapons long semi-automatic SKS, 762 x 39mmm calibre, 1 generation Zastava M-57, 762 x 25mm calibre, 2 rounds and 77 bullets, book 7.62 x 25mmm, 1 hunting rifle 12 GA (production of the former - With 17 rounds and a belt ring and various military uniforms and constituent parts of former Yugoslav Army uniforms”.
At the special prosecutor's decision, suspects have been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours, for further legal procedures.
