Trump stressed that the United States is holding talks with a new and more reasonable “regime” and underlined that intervention will be revenge for US soldiers who were killed during the previous period of the Iranian regime.

However, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghai said his country had no direct contact with Washington and described the American “excessive” and <x2-humanist”.
