Trump addressed a series of topics in the interview, including the expected duration of the conflict, his surprise from Iran's broad response and the expected succession plan in the country.
Asked whether the US is doing more than military attack to help the Iranian people regain control of their country from the regime, Trump said: “Po”.
I really am. But for now we want everyone to stay inside. Not safe outside”.
And soon it will become even less secure, the president said.
