Terras reacts sharply to Paunovic's statement: Embarrassing, Destroying Faith in Dialogue

Serbian Minister Snezana Panovovic's statement, which said that if it were in place of Slobodan Milosevic, in 1998 it would have “ethnically laundered Kosovo”, it caused strong reactions in Kosovo and abroad.
The European Parliament's rapporteur for Kosovo, Riho Terras, has described the declaration as shameful and warned that it seriously undermines confidence in the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

Meanwhile, Paunovic's statement has been officially addressed in the European Union by Kosovo's chief negotiator, Agron Bajrami.
According to him, the declaration constitutes violations of the 2023 Brussels Agreement and seriously violates the process of normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
