In the capital, hundreds of thousands of citizens were addressed in the early hours of the morning Square “Skenderbej”, where the central prayer ceremony was organised by Albania's Muslim Community.
The programme was launched at around 6:45 a.m. with the reading of the verses from the Koran and the corresponding speech, and then the believers perform the prayer of Bajrami. Meanwhile, traditional visits to KMSH headquarters are scheduled to take place at the 0900000012 o'clock interval, reports Euronews.al, broadcast Periscope.
In his message to this day, the head of the Albanian Muslim Community, Bujar Spahiu, stressed the importance of solidarity and care to the needy class, naming this holiday as a moment of reflection and unity. He also shared an appeal for peace, recalling difficult situations in conflict areas and the suffering of families facing the consequences of war.
Fiter Bajrami marks closing the month-long fast and is closely linked to the act of charity. Before the festival, believers give alms to help needy families, so that the joy of this day may be separated from all. This holiday, sanctioned in Islamic tradition, comes as a spiritual reward after the Ramadan sacrifice, much like the Kurban Bajrami, which is celebrated later in the year.
One of the central elements of this day is the prayer prayer of Bajram, a special ritual performed in the early hours of the morning and different from the common forgivenesss for its shapes and content. /Periscope/
