A second attack has been launched on a British military base in Cyprus, according to the Cypriot government.
Two fears without a pilot heading towards RAF Akrotiri are “successfully acquired”, a spokesman has announced.
An hour ago, the air strike sirens were heard at the base, which was attacked by Iranian fears targeting the runway at night.
Otherwise, the base in Cyprus was also hit by another Iranian attack. Strong explosions were heard at the British base of RAF Akrotiri in Limassol.
United Kingdom Defence Ministry ( The MoD) told the BBC there was minimal damage on the basis following Sunday night's fears attack and that operations were continuing normally.
The MoD also denied reports that some staff members could be sent home from Cyprus and said an investigation was under way to determine where the fears were shot.
The base, where some 2,000 service personnel and their families live, was apparently targeted by Iran or its representatives. /Telegraphy/
