Police have announced that citizen V. F. from the village of Peqan, passing by a restaurant in Suhareka, has found 300 euros in cash on land. She reported the case and delivered the financial equipment to the Suhareka Police Station about 20:15 that day.
In addition, it is known in the report that following the verification of security cameras, the person who lost the money has been identified, a citizen of Suhareka, who was then handed over to the tools found at the station.
Kosovo's “Police thank citizens for their exemplary action and encourage all citizens to follow this model of honesty and co-operation with institutions. We also remind citizens that taking the foreign item, whether it is found on the street or anywhere else, constitutes criminal acts and is punishable according to the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code”, the statement said.
