FIFA prepares penalties for players, trainers who criticised judges after World Cup

FIFA will wait until the end of the World Cup to impose sanctions on players and trainers who criticised arbitration.
Throughout the tour, judges have been the target of fierce criticism, including those by England's coach Thomas Tuchel, Swiss defender Manuel Akanji and Egypt coach Hossam Hassan.
FIFA refused to comment on possible disciplinary measures, but sources familiar with the issue said the measures could be taken after the tour.
Possible sanctions will depend on judges' reports and other relief factors, reports the New York Times. The World Football Organisation implemented a similar practice after the Qatar World Cup four years ago when it punished several national federations.
Tuchel's critics after victory over Mexico
After England's victory over Mexico in the 1/8th phase, in which defender Jarrell Qwansah was disfellowshipped, coach Tuchel criticised Australian Judge Alireza Faghani.
The “is simply not at the right level. The judge can rule out any player at any time. He is unpredictable, has no stability in his decisions. We also have four judges screaming as soon as he leaves the area with one foot. It's just not good enough", Tucell said of the judge's performance.
Egyptians are angry after Argentina's loss
The fiercest criticism came after Egypt's defeat from Argentina in the 1/8th phase, and French Judge Francois Letexier was sharply criticised.
"We were better at everything, but the result was influenced by factors in the field as well as those outside the field before the match. Clearly, the pressure the Argentinians exerted on the judge before the match was successful because they rebelled against him, mentioning France. It appears that pressure from the Argentinian side to the judge led to this score", said Egypt coach Hossam Hassan.
Egyptian attacker Mostafa Ziko went a step further, saying that Letexier"destroyed all our efforts with his decisions".
We were leading 2-0 and there's nothing we can do about it, everything is in God's hands. We wanted to make everyone happy, but it wasn't meant to happen. The magistrate's fault. The trophy is for Argentina”, Zico said after the loss.
Akani: I have never experienced such a unilateral judgment
Manuel Akanji was also unhappy with the judges, as his Switzerland was defeated by Argentina in the quarterfinals.
It's hard when you have a judge against you. Every little thing was tried against us. Every simulation and every violation by the Argentinians remained unpunished. Normally I don't speak for judges, but I've never experienced such a unilateral judgment as today", Akanji said of Portuguese Judge Joao Pinheiro, Television reports. Periscope.
Collin protects judges
In other races, such as the Premier League, such comments would soon result in a fine or suspension, but FIFA is refraining from taking action until the tournament is completed.
FIFA Judge General Director Pierre Colline has faced charges that judges are partial to Argentina.
"No one should question the integrity of judges at the World Cup FIFA. When that happens, it may provoke reactions leading to threats against them and their families. This is not fair", Colline said in a statement last week. /Periscope
