US Army Prepares Final Out of Iraq

The US Army will leave Iraq by the end of September, American and Iraqi officials have said, following a 23-year presence that began with the 2003 invasion against then leader Saddam Hussein.
US President Donald Trump, standing next to Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi at the White House, said"we do not think we need the army there"and noted Iraq's growing relations with oil companies.
The relationship is a whole big relationship where we don't need the"army, Trump said. "We are there to help them. We're there to protect them if necessary. But we don't think this will be necessary".
Speaking through a translator, al-Zaidi said, the US"forces will exit Iraq"by September 30th, "as American companies are inside Iraq".
The Pentagon stressed in a later statement that it was reaffirming a 2024 agreement with Iraq to complete its mission against the terrorist group DAESH, they write foreign media, they're texting Telegrafi.
Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth also stressed that a normal bilateral defence relationship depends on a stable security environment"free of terrorist pressure".
Many of the American troops still deployed in Iraq at the time of the deal, which took place during the administration of Joe Biden, have already left.
The U.S. have removed the burden of fighting I SIS in Iraq by American forces and coalition forces to Iraqi troops who were trained by the American Army.
And American troops have reduced their tracks, withdrawing from the areas and consolidating forces. /Periscope/
