The Strasbourg court has for the first time recorded the indictment against Serbia, which relates to the failure of Albanian addresses in the Presevo Valley.
The news has revealed to lawyer Drini Grashhani, who has announced via Facebook that the indictment has been handed over for human rights violations against Teuta Fazliu.
According to him, the recording of the case represents an important procedural step and an encouraging development in trying to bring the matter to an end, reports Klankosova.tv.
Serbia is engaged in ethnic administrative cleansing of Albanians, not only by those working abroad but also by those living within the country. It is not symbolic, it forces Albanians to leave, as citizens lose the right to receive new identification/asserted, pension rights, health insurance, vote rights, etc. Recording the indictment and the application number from the Strasbourg Court is a very important procedural step, considering that this Court refuses over 90% of cases since the initial phase. My main goal is to have the Court implement pilot decision procedure (rule 61). This means that the decision will not remain only for Teuta, but force Serbia to ban this systematic practice for all and apply in all similar cases”, it has written.
Through the same post, the lawyer has called on citizens of the Presevo Valley to follow all domestic legal procedures as a necessary step before addressing cases at the Strasbourg Court.
