A source from the Spanish government has said that if Washington wants to review the trade relationship with Spain “it should do so while respecting the autonomy of private companies, international legitimacy and bilateral agreements between the EU and the US”.
Madrid has said that the attacks are an unwarranted and dangerous “invetation”.
“Spain has been terrible”, Donald Trump said on Tuesday, referring to Pedro Sanchezi's refusal to allow the US to use military bases to hit Iran.
Trump has declared on Tuesday that: “We don't want anything with Spain”.
