The custody prosecutor has reportedly taken necessary procedural actions and authorised the Kosovo Police for the investigation action company with the aim of identifying and tracking suspected persons, as well as ensuring relevant evidence.
On the other hand, it is said that due to the early phase of the investigation, additional details cannot be offered at this stage.

Pristina, March 2nd 2026-The Constitutional Prosecutorship in Pristina, announces the public opinion that, today, around 1600, information has been accepted concerning a case of physical assault on journalist Burim Pacolli.
Immediately after receiving the information, the caretaker prosecutor has taken the necessary procedural actions and authorised the Kosovo Police for undertaking investigative actions with the aim of identifying and tracking suspected persons, as well as providing relevant evidence.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting intensive investigation into full co-ordination with the State Prosecutor. Because of the early phase of the investigation and with the goal of maintaining the integrity of the process, additional details cannot be offered at this stage.
The prosecution remains committed to handling the case with priority and ensuring a quick, impartial and professional investigation, in accordance with the law.
