Vjosa Osmani has explained his reasons for addressing the Constitutional Court with a request for clarification about the appointment of Central Election Commission members (KQZ). Since this case has not been clarified by the Constitutional Court so far, I have asked to clarify it”, the president said.
This issue has been unclarified over the years, according to her.
This case is raised on a different legal issue, not as in previous cases either by President Thaci or on my own”, she said.
The president submitted the request Tuesday to the Constitutional Court, after the Vetevendosje Movement -- Prime Minister Albin Kurti's ruling party -- has asked for three members, while PDK two.
