Two young Mitrovicas reportedly died in a traffic accident in Italy

According to initial information, the accident occurred Friday at 3:40 a.m. on the A4 Highway toward Trieste. They were driving, possibly toward the Slovenian border, when they crashed into a truck carrying various goods.
The sudden slowdown of the heavy vehicle may have been the cause of a backlog. What is known for certain is that Kosovars' Volkswagen Gold car with Polish license plates failed to stop in time and crashed into the truck, ending under print. The two young people in the vehicle almost lost their lives on the spot.
The tragic clash, in the direction of Trieste, took place at the height of San Stino di Livenza. The A4 highway was closed immediately by highway personnel Alto Adriatico after the serious accident. It was a few minutes after 1600.
The entrance to San Stino di Livenza's knot was closed towards Portogro. The emergency helicopter from Traviso landed on the scene, and San Donà's road police arrived for measuring, with Commander Louis Eversano in the country along with the San Donà unit patrol and agents.
At the scene, firefighters from Portogregro and Motta di Livenza intervened, as well as autovinci from Mestra, which became necessary for the establishment of heavy vehicles and the extraction of the remaining car blocked and completely destroyed by the crash.
Despite the rapid intervention of rescue teams, there was nothing to be done for two Kosovo citizens in the car: both were declared dead by Suem 118 health personnel who arrived on the highway.
Victims' families have been notified today of the fatal accident.
The precise circumstances of the accident still remain under investigation by competent Italian authorities, who are working to clarify the cause of the tragedy.
