In a statement to Kanal 10, Avdyli said there is no plan to return to the LDK and that it will continue to remain part of the Vetevendosje Movement parliamentary group, despite all resignations in the Guxo party.
His statement comes just hours after LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku called for unity within the political spectrum, a call interpreted as the invitation to the return of President Vjosa Osmani and other former members who left the LDK.
In a post on social networks, Abdixhiku called for uniting what he called “institutionalist camp”, stressing that supporters of the Republic and Euro-Atlantic route have a joint political home.
According to him, time requires a joint project exceeding past divisions and disagreements.
“Time requires unity, institutionalists, Republican supporters and all Euro-Atlantic road travellers.
