The 62-year-old death in Prizren: Work inspector explains that the victim was not a worker but that the owner's brother

The Central Labour Inspectorate has come up with an official clarification concerning the tragic death of a 62-year-old in Prizren, who lost his life after allegedly falling from the roof of a house where works were being done.
According to initial data provided by inspectors on the ground, it turns out the victim has not been engaged as a worker in this facility.
From the first findings, a serious accident occurred in a private house where roof renovations were being developed. The IQP suggests that 62-year-old had nothing to do with the work process under way, but was a close family member of the home owner.
“Victime was not engaged in the work process, but was the householder's brother,” It says the Inspector's announcement.
After considering the legal case of safety and health at work, the Central Labour Inspectorate has found that this case does not enter the domain of regular labour relations.
The IQP has found that no contractual investor relations existed between the parties.
The victim has had no working relationship according to pre-law definitions.
The relevant authorities and the Kosovo Police are continuing investigations to fully illuminate the circumstances of this serious event.
