Kosovo Embassy in Berlin contains inscriptions containing Serbian chauvinist content, MPJD declared

In the MPJD '%s' announcement, it also adds that the inscriptions contained nationalist and promotional slogans, including messages such as “, no surrender”, “Kosovo is Serbia” and other calls with propagandistic and divisive convergence.

Reaction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo announces the public opinion that today, at the foreign environments of the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Berlin, offensive and chauvinistic labels in the Serbian language have been placed on the identifying plaque of the object.

The established inscriptions contain nationalist and promotional slogans, including messages such as “, there is no handover”, “Kosovo is Serbia” and other calls with propagandistic and divisive conflict.

Shortly after identifying this act, the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Berlin has announced competent German authorities. German police have been informed and are expected to take relevant actions at the scene, including the full investigation of the circumstances and identification of the responsible.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore strongly condemns any act of vandalism, hate speech and any attempt to violate the diplomatic representations of the Republic of Kosovo. Such actions are unacceptable and conflict with international norms and conventions guaranteeing the invisibility of diplomatic missions as well as damaging the spirit of co-existence and respect among states.

The Republic of Kosovo remains committed to promoting peace, dialogue, co-operation and good international relations, continuing to exercise its diplomatic mission in full accordance with international principles and standards.
