NATO-led Kosovo Force Explosive Security Experts (KFOR), under the co-ordination of KFOR Joint Genieries of Staff ( HQ J-Eng, conducted a joint security inspection along with weapons and ammunition inspectors from the Department for Public Security (DPS), Interior Affairs Ministry (MPB) and mine explosives inspectors from the Independent Commission for Mine and Mines (ICMM), at the Trepca Actionary Society mine in Stantrg/ Stari Trg.
This regular activity, according to KFOR, testifies to the continued commitment to co-operate with local institutions, strengthening partnerships and contributing to the creation of a safe environment for all citizens in Kosovo.
KFOR stresses that it continues to implement its mandate, based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244, to ensure a safe environment and freedom of movement for all, impartially and at any time.
