KFOR has announced the activities of American soldiers on guard Kosovo's border: Helping to Appreciate the Situation

US KFOR soldiers consistently carry out patrols along the Kosovo border line, which is responsible for the Regional-East Command.

KFOR in a media report says these patrols help preserve assessment of the situation, support stability and freedom of movement, monitor changes in the operational environment and demonstrate a visible presence on the ground.

“Such objectives reflect KFOR's continued commitment to ensuring a safe environment for all people living in Kosovo, in an impartial and transparent manner”, the report says.
