Iran's Supreme Leader vows revenge for his father's death

Iran's supreme leader, Ajatolah Mojtaba Khamenei, has promised revenge for his father's murder, Ajatollah Ali Khamenei, claiming that such a move is “the nation's” and that “must definitely happen”.
The statement was made through a written message published in his telegram account.
The message was published several months after Ajatolah Ali Khamenei was killed in air strikes conducted by the United States and Israel on 28 February.
In his statement, Mojtaba Khamenei said Iran would not give up the search for responsibility for the former Supreme Leader's murder.
“We pledge that we will avenge the blood of the martyr leader and all the martyrs of these two wars by the criminal killers and shamed”, says Khamene's message.
