Key announcement for Kosovo citizens trapped in United Arab Emirates

The Kosovo Embassy in the United Arab Emirates has notified all citizens of Kosovo who are there that Arab authorities have established the extension of stay at hotel facilities for those who have reached the check-out date, but cannot travel for reasons outside their control.

According to the announcement, all guests in this situation will be extended to the hotel where they are accommodated until they can leave the country.

The spending of the stay will be covered by the date when travel has become impossible, until the date when it becomes possible, the embassy further reveals.

The embassy urges all citizens in this situation to communicate with the management of the hotel where they are located and, for any additional uncertainty, to contact diplomatic representation.

The embassy has said it remains available for any information and assistance necessary.
