The company for Electric Energy Distribution in Kosovo (KEDS) reiterates its full commitment to ensuring precise, reliable and transparent measurements of electricity consumption for all consumers.
All electric power measures (nouncilers) are calibrated and synced to the official time at the moment of their installation, providing maximum accuracy. Measure systems are designed so that every consumer can profit equally and fairly from tariff applications, including low tariffs, according to the definitions of the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE).
The timing of the clock at the distance has been accomplished by a high level of precision, ensuring that all consumers go to low fee at the same time in full compliance with the rules and standards in force.
In isolated cases, minor deviations may occur for technical reasons, but even in such cases the length of low and high - paying benefits is correct. Since the duration is of tariff measurements is correct, but there is some timeout, the KDS immediately reacts to any complaint or warning from consumers. Our technical teams verify the situation on the ground and take the necessary actions to solve any problem quickly and professionally.
Therefore, we ask political parties and all other sides to refrain from unconfirmed statements that do not coincide with reality.
Under the modernisation of the network, KEDS is currently in the process of replacing older diplomats with new digital diplomats, who offer high precision in measurement. Over 130 thousand new digital digits were installed during the past year alone. The intermediates are made just to make sure that the measure continues to be accurate.
Kosovo is one of the leading countries in terms of digitalisation of diplomats. KEDS remains committed to further boosting this investment dynamic, in line with the regulatory framework. Unfortunately, there are limits imposed by the regulator.
We also urge political parties to avoid politicising this issue or using it for political gain.
As a delivery system operator, The KEDS guarantees that all measurement processes are conducted in line with primary and secondary legislation in force, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, transparency and credibility.
