Large Fluks in Morina, thousands of Kosovo citizens towards the Albanian coast - just today over 12,000 people have entered the border

During the months of May and June, there have been a record of entrances to the Kukes border points with Kosovo, while thousands of citizens and drivers from Kosovo have chosen to travel to the Albanian coast, the National Park of Valbona and other tourist destinations to spend weekends and summer holidays.
According to the director of the Local Directorate for Border and Migration Kukes, Arben Alika, over the months of May and June, over 2 million citizens have been worked in and out, with a daily average of more than 42 thousand people.
Most of them are citizens of Kosovo. To cope with the growing influx, Border Police have increased capacities at all district border crossings, increasing the number of sports and effective in the service. The main focus is on Border Crossing Point Morina, which copes with the greatest volume of movements between Kosovo and Albania
During the first four hours of this Saturday, via the Morina Border Crossing Point has entered Albania 12 thousand and 431 citizens from Kosovo, with two thousand and 879 small vehicles and buses again confirming Morina as Kosovo's main entry gate.
