Weird: FIFA selling World Finals bar 2026

FIFA has found another way to benefit financially from the 2026 World Cup. The football organisation has been selling pieces of grass that will be used in the tournament final, which will take place on 19 July at the “MetLife” stadium in New Jersey.
A Small Part of the Field Cost $450, while FIFA describes the product as an authentic “part of football history”. The bars will be stored in an acrylic wrapping with a USB that serves as proof of authenticity.
According to FIFA, this collection has been created for fans and collectors who want to have a memory of one of the world's biggest sports events.
