Oliver Ivanovic hero, Zajednica, and finally what for Nenad Rasisk's monastery of Decani will be donated 24 acres of land.
For the last two, there were agreements by the former prime ministers (the 2013 and 2015 agreements), but never had lived to the end.
As guarantee that these agreements were either not in opposition to the judicial order in Kosovo, a security has been left at the Constitutional Court
Meanwhile Albin Kurti, leader in property on 16 January 2023, declared hero Oliver Ivanovic, even though Ivanovic was sentenced to massacres against Albanians in the early 2000s in northern Mitrovica.
Albin Kurti as a result of talks in Brussels first reached an agreement on February 27th in Brussels and March 18th in Ohrid (2023), since analysts and constitutional and experts has been named as direct autonomy for Kosovo Serbs, as Serbia's request.
In February 2023 in Brussels and March 18th in Ohrid, northern Macedonia, Kosovo and Serbia agreed to a normalisation agreement.
One of the hottest points in this deal is Article 7.
This point has to do with ensuring a proper level of self-awareness for the Serb community in Kosovo, in line with previously reached agreements within dialogue.
Some see this point as reference for forming the Association of Serb majority municipalities in Kosovo.
365 days from the Ohrid Agreement: All that Kosovo and Serbia did
And in 2024, in the wake of Kosovo's membership in the European Council, which was never made, Albin Kurti decided that 24 acres of land were taken with the Decani Monastery.
But based on recent statements by voice and figure by Kurti's minister, the one for Kthim and Community, Nenad Rassic, the land for the Decani monastery was falourı with the government's decision of the latter.
But how did Kurt make his decision on 24 acres [24 ha] of land?
Albin Kurti in 2024 had ordered the Cadastral Agency to implement the Constitutional Court's decision to recognise the Decani Monastery of Property on 24 hectares. At the time, Albin Kurti had said that this decision has been made to set as a condition for Kosovo's admission to the Council of Europe.
As Kurti said, the Kosovo government was ahead of two options: To meet this condition and to have Kosovo accepted into the Council of Europe or to remain without membership.
“Mbi all required a reasonable decision, unfortunately not fair in its capacity. But in spite of this to achieve a very large goal that we owe to the state that opens up unprecedented opportunities, we must step forward with caution and responsibility as an independent and sovereign state. So today we have told Kosovo's cadastral agency to implement the Constitutional decision, while Foreign Affairs Minister Donica Grovalla has sent verbal notes to the Council of Europe”, Kurti had declared.
24 hectares gave Rashihch” He forgave Kurti for what he once considered treason.
What's on 24 acres around the Decani Monastery?
Since the end of the 1998-99 war in Kosovo, the Decani Monastery, which is located in the western part of the country, has demanded the possession of an area of about 24 hectares.
This land, located around this monastery, is marked as the property of two companies “iliria” and “Apico” first hotel and second honey factory.
The ownership of the Decani Monastery on these 24 hectares of land was confirmed by the Constitutional Court of Kosovo in May 2016.
In addition to agricultural land and forest, there are two hotel objects on these 24 hectares, with about 10 small supporting objects, and the object of a prewar company known for honey production.
Once like the loudest man against the monastery's lands, Kurt declared it:
Decani's “The Decan Manster has its own court and I agree that there must be some land that the priests need for work and living there. However, not to be the local population. After all, those priests in Manastir, Decani, need three acres [3 ha] and four and so on. What does he need 1,000 acres? What will those priests do there with 1,000 acres? It is too much, for those very few people living and living there”, Kurti said at the Kosovo Assembly in 2013.
According to him, the mosque, the church, the monastery, the synagogue, the television, and other religious temples should be focused on the spiritual and divine aspect of life and space, not on property and wealth.
“We have believed that after declaring independence we will have the impact of this injustice and rooting it out, not straining it, as was the case in the Supreme Court, but perhaps this is the difference between independence and self-determination and without self-determination”, Kurti said.
How did Kurt proclaim hero Oliver Ivanoviqi?
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, on 16 January 2023, published a memorial video for the late Serbian politician, Oliver Ivanovic, on the fifth anniversary of his assassination.
If the video had not been published by the Government of Kosovo, it would have seemed incredible.
“Today we commemorate the life and memory of Oliver Ivanovic, on the day of his death. My thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends”, Kurti said in his Serbian-language video message, tweeted in Albanian.
“Oliver Ivanovic was a person devoted to fighting for the interests of the community and its city. He did so by being open, honest, always sharp in matters of importance, but also respectful toward those with whom he disagreed”, Kurti continued his message.
“I would like his memory to remain alive, his memory as a man who worked for a stable future and for a multiethnic Kosovo”, he said.

This footage of Kurt had sparked major reactions in early 1923, after Oliver Ivanov had been sentenced to 9 years for war crimes.
But even for Albin Kurti himself and Vetevendosje Movement, Ivanovic was earlier a war criminal.
Kurti, as chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement in April 2018, had said that “Oliver Ivanovic is a war criminal”.

Even the Vetevendosje Movement had reacted sharply through a communique published on its website on January 21, 2016, following Oliver Ivanovic's condemnation by the Mitrovica Foundation Court.
“Oliver Ivanovic and his associates during and after the official end of the war in Kosovo have committed themselves to the realisation of Serbia's hegemon state plan, the colonisation of Kosovo and its cleansing. Oliver Ivanovi and his associates are nothing less than the concrete doctrine of Ilia Grazhani kill and expel”, said among other things in the LVV communique, which has already been erased from the archive of this political subject.
