Just days after that visit, Haxhi Thaci passed away.
I said goodbye to you, Dad! From The Hague, goodbye to heaven! ”, was the crown inscription sent by Thaci on the day of Haxhi Thaci's burial.
Meanwhile, the trial process against former KLA leaders in the Specialised Chambers in The Hague is complete and is now awaiting the verdict. The court has already withdrawn to make the final decision, which is expected to be announced in the following months.
In Kosovo, waiting for this decision is accompanied by great public interest, while many citizens and political representatives have expressed their confidence in the innocence of former KLA leaders and the liberation character of its war.
