Hoffenheim's chief confirms top-clube talks on Aslan Gen.

The Hoffenheim Manager, Andreas Schifer, has confirmed that the club is in active negotiations for the future of knight Aslan, Kosovo national star.
The 23-year-old footballer has become one of the most popular talents in Europe after an impressive season in Germany.
The race for Aslan's transfer is intensifying, as Schifcker acknowledged that Hoffenheim is considering bids for one of his most valuable players.
With increased interest from some of the biggest European clubs, the removal of attackers from “Rhein - Neckar-Arena” this summer looks more and more likely.
“The situation is there are talks with clubs, both from Germany and abroad. Also, it is no secret that Aslan has a release clause”, Schifer told “Kicker”.
These comments come at a time when the assailant is being closely pursued by clubs in England and Spain, while Schifcker's statement suggests that Hoffenheim is preparing for his departure.
Barcelona has long been linked to the name of 23-year-old, while reports suggest the Catalan club had established the first contacts since March.
Even though interest so far has been unofficial, the possible departure of Ferran Torres to Paris Saint-Germain can lead Barcelona to intensify the efforts to transfer Aslan, with the aim of strengthening Hansi Flick's offensive department.
However, the Spanish club faces strong competition from Premierliga.
Chelsea and Tottenham are reported to have a serious interest in the attacker, who is considered an ideal profile for English football.
Aslan held an extraordinary season, recording 10 goals and nine assistings in 33 presentations, which makes a target very attractive to clubs seeking quality without spending very large sums.
One of the main reasons why his interest in him is so great relates to the release clause in his contract.
Although connected to Hoffenheim by 2029, his agreement contains a clause reported to be slightly below 30m euros, a amount considered very favourable for a player of his age and statistics.
Borussia Dortmund has also been mentioned as a potential destination within Bundesliga, but it is believed that access to transfer outside Germany is an important factor for the player.
For Hoffenheim, the existence of the release clause means that the club may have little control over Aslan's future destination if any club pays the required sum, although Schifer confirmed that the talks are under way with the aim of implementing an organised transfer. /Periscopi/
