Albania will close the first chapters, Commissioner Kos: Today is a “Super of Tuesday” for EU enlargement

Today's a stretcher Tuesday. That is how European Union Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos, who stressed for the first time in more than two decades, has been held four membership conferences on the same day.
Kos through a video on the social X network has released the ongoing process while Albania will close its first chapters.
“Today it's a Tuesday Super for European Union expansion. For the first time in more than two decades, we are holding four membership conferences on the same day ... The four countries that are in charge of the process of Ukraine, Moldova, Albania and Montenegro are taking all important steps forward...
Albania will close its first chapters, while Montenegro is in the final phase of formal negotiations, as it has closed 18 out of 33 chapters. Now, this moment of creation today must become concrete results on the ground”, she writes.
Otherwise, the Albanian delegation, led by Prime Minister Edi Rama, will formalise the closure of chapter 25 (Science and Research), chapter 26 (Education and Culture) and chapter 30 (External Relations), areas harmonised with EU standards.
The conference will begin at 7:00, while an hour later a press conference on the performance of the integration process will be held. /Periscopi/
