Haradinaj has added that the project in question had an impact on the economy, tourism and regional development, and that, this issue is a priority issue, not the budget, follows Express.
Because any completed design is a basis for investment, construction, and concrete development. Removing financial support means delaying the project, wasting of time and loss of opportunity for Dukagjini's citizens, Haradinaj has said, among other things.
The first of AAKA has also said that the Kurti government prohibits projects that enable economic development.

In the Haradinaj government, the design of the Dukagjin Highway has been a concrete step towards realising one of the most important development projects for Kosovo.
But instead of pushing forward, the Kurti Government has decided to push it away from financial support, putting aside a process that would have a direct impact on the economy, tourism and regional development.
It's not just a budget issue, it's a priority issue.
Because any completed design is the basis for investment, construction and concrete development. Removing financial support means delaying the project, wasting of time and loss of opportunity for the citizens of Dukagjin.
This highway would connect Istog, Peja, Decanin, Gjakova, Rahovecin, Suhareka and Prizren in a single economic corridor. It would lower costs for businesses, increase investments and turn Dukagjin into a much more competitive area.
Instead, we have a government that talks about development, but in practice it stops projects that enable it.
The question is simple: Why did a project directly serving citizens and the country's economy leave funding?
Because the citizens of Dukagjin don't need reasoning, they need this highway.
