Gutierrez from EFJ: We talked two hours with Kurt, disturbing that he doesn't even know of the climate hostile to journalists.

Gutierrez spoke of this meeting at a media conference today that held the Fatkmandatory Mission of the Council of Europe's State of Security of Journalists, which has unveiled the two-day workshop with media representatives where media freedom is worse than the past years.
We met the prime minister yesterday, we talked about it for a couple of hours, and from my point of view, perhaps the most disturbing of all, as the conclusion of this meeting with him was the fact that the prime minister knows him as well, he has this hostile climate towards journalists. Rather, he tried to reason on it. If journalists get attacked, it's probably because sometimes politicians are also attacked. So he reasoned somehow, justified this kind of attitude and clearly refused to punish him because we asked him to condemn any kind of negative public attitude towards journalists, and he refused to do so. For me, this is one of the most disturbing findings of this” meeting, Gutierrez said.
Of the findings, the Fat collection mission of the Platform said there is a decline in media freedom in Kosovo.
