The Constitutional Court has imposed temporary measures that suspend the implementation of the decree for the distribution of the Parliament until the case is considered at merit.
According to the Government of Kosovo, this space gives institutions the opportunity for the issue to be fully addressed, respecting constitutional order and democratic principles.
The government stresses that during these three weeks of waiting, some important agreements and decisions for citizens still remain without the Parliament's approval.
The government expects the Constitutional Court's final decision to give full clarity and set the constitutional standard so that institutions and citizens will no longer face these serious obstacles,” is said in the communique.
