Sentenced to 24 Years in Jail Charged in Blackbird Murder After Children's Dispute

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has declared condemnation of Skender Krasniqi, condemning him to a unique 24-year sentence for the F.Z. murder. The court requalified Krasniqi's criminal act by “grave murder” to “Murder”.
Krasniqi is charged with the murder of F.Z., in August 2024 in Lipjan's Zla kuqejan following the children's dispute, reports “Justice Trust”, broadcasts Periscope.
The indictment was announced Wednesday by the court panel with Judge Gent Beka and members Gazmend Bahtiri and Sultan Hoti.
The court re-qualificationd criminal acts from “heavy murder” to “Murder”, condemning him to 22 years in prison. But for illegal possession, the accused was sentenced to two years and six months in prison. To Krasniqi, the sentence was proclaimed unique to 24 years in prison.
Against that decision, the dissatisfied side has the right to complaint after accepting the written decision.
Presented in the announcement were prosecutor Menduh Kastrati, the damaged side, Krasniqi- lawyer Ilir Ramaj's defender. Meanwhile, the accused was absent.
At the initial session on 15 July 2025, the accused has been declared innocent.
According to Pristina's Constitutional Prosecutor's Act, filed on June 30th 2025, accused Skender Krasniqi was charged that on August 7th 2024, in the village of Lipjan, because of the preliminary dispute that had taken place on the same day between his son-of-the-bety T.K., with the minor A.Z., the son of now witness B.Z., the late grandson of the late F.Z. deceased, in connection with their communications on the social network, where the minor had caused the child's serious body injury.
The indictment says witness I.Z. had talked to the N.K. witness, who had told him to step aside that he did not know what had happened, and then the accused comes out of the house now towards the court gate where the late F.Z., and witnesses I.Z., and F.K. And then there was witness B.K.
The indictment reportedly after the conversation ended, now the late F.Z., and witness I.Z., leave the gate of Krasniqi's house on the road to the village and observe the minor T.K., coming out of the upper court, which the F.Z. and I.Z., angry, head towards the minor T.K. And they enter into the court of the defendant, where he had begun shouting, where the minor T.K. has a knife in his hand, which he was asked to release.
According to the indictment, at a moment the N.K. witnesses intervened, and B.K., which the parties were beginning to divide, I.Z., set off on the road and then the late F.Z. But, it says the defendant Skender Krasniqi takes the knife from the minor T. K, and deliberately to deprive the deceased F.Z. of life now, strikes him twice in a row, resulting in fatal injuries that about 13:02 minutes ago are sent to QMF in the village of Magur in the Lipjan municipality, where his death is claimed.
On that, the accused Krasniqi was charged with committing criminal work “heavy murder” by Article 173, paragraph 1, box 1.4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to point two of this indictment, accused Skender Krasniqi is accused of retaining unauthorised possession in violation of the applicable gun law, a knife he used to use to inflict fatal injuries now to the late F.Z., and three other knives that were found during the search of the house and court of defendants and have been seized.
With this, it was accused of committing criminal work “retaining ownership, control, or unauthorized possession of weapons” by Article 366. paragraph 2 concerning paragraph 1.1 of the Republic of Kosovo Criminal Code. /Periscope
