The Vetevendosje movement appears to have already decided with two concrete names to come up for the position of Kosovo president.
According to sources of Democracy.com, Prime Minister Kurti's party is expected to propose Glauk Konjufca and Salih Zyba for the post of president of the country.
Their names will be prosecuted for voting in the Kosovo Assembly, the day the president's election hearing will be called.
So far, Vetevendosje has not appeared publicly with concrete names, but is holding meetings with opposition party leaders.
VV leader Albin Kurti has held two rounds of talks on the issue with PDK chairman Bedri Hamza and LDK leader Lumir Abdzhaku, writes Democracy.com.
With the latter today, there has been a third unexpected meeting.
Neither the first two meetings nor today have produced any results to find a consensual candidate.
After meeting with Abdixhiku, Kurti has not provided much detail to journalists “And we have no solution. If it's done, we'll call you”, Kurti said short.
The only consensus candidate to be mentioned by VV has been Murat Jashar, who has rejected the offer.
Thursday, March 5th, is the last time Kosovo can elect the president.
On the contrary, then the deadline is violated, and any election of a president after this date would be violation of the Constitution, and as a result, new elections.
