Thus, Blic's sources close to the LDK suggest the party is holding talks with Vjosa Osmani about a possible leading role in the upcoming elections.

According to these sources, if the country goes to new elections, Vjosa Osmani may be host to the LDK list.

These negotiations show the party's efforts to ensure a powerful figure to meet electoral challenges and increase prospects for a positive result.

We remember that, Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku, after the end of the meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who was held yesterday, asked by reporters, left open the possibility of support for Vjosa Osmani, but stressed that currently “no such name has been presented”.

At this stage, we have no resistance to anyone, much less to Vjosa Osman. No vote was required for Vjosa Osmani, so I can't speak”, Abdixhiku said.

 

 

He explained that the LDK has received no official request for signatures.

We've never had a rejection. But no one has come with 15 signatures to ask for 15 more of LDK”, he said.

According to him, the candidate for president should be a consensus product and not a party race.

“For the LDK race does not believe there is a solution. It's a predetermined procedure to fail. Consensus makes president. The president should be the government's continuation, but counterbality”, Abdixhiku said.
