Denis Bytyqi and Enis Beatic are sentenced to prison for inciting hate and support from ISIS

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has declared condemnation of Denis Bytyqi and Enis Bitiq, who are accused of inciting division and failure, as through Facebook and TikTok social networks they had called for joining the jihad war. The indictment was announced Monday by the head of the court, Violet Namani-Hajra, and members Lutfi Shala and the Shyti Framework.
Judge Naman-Hajra said Denis Bytyqi is sentenced to 2 years in prison, while Enis Batic is sentenced to 1 year in prison for “Insistance of division and failure to be”.
Indictees Denis Bytyqi have interrupted the detention measure, reasoning that they have ceased the causes for continuing the measure.
To that decision, the disgruntled side has the right to complaint in the 30-day term from the written-shaped accession day.
The judge pointed out that phones that have served to carry out criminal work are confiscated.
The accused were not present in the declaration, “Justice Vow”.
Otherwise, the two accused had been declared innocent at the initial session on October 9th 2025.
According to the Special Prosecutor's Act of the Republic of Kosovo, founded on September 23rd 2025, Denis Bytyqi and Enis Beatic are accused of publicly promoting and spreading hatred and failure among religious groups, as well as propaganda of extreme religious ideology.
The Actakuz says that in progress until 1 May 2025, through their social network “Facebook” and “Tik Tok”, the accused have distributed posts with inflammatory content through which they have called for joining the armed wars and the war for jihad, as well as other posts in which they broadcast strong support of religious extremism and publicly support actions made by terrorist organisation “ISIS”, expressing deep hostility towards state institutions, security forces, political leaders, the United States of America and all those who do not share their ideology.
According to the indictment, they have placed flags of the terrorist organisation “ISIS” over the height of their home, has made X-rays in Arabic on the walls of their home, with which actions and posts could potentially disrupt public order.
