A considerable amount of sports underwear with various protected brands and a quantity of textile clothing have been found during checkups.
The goods allegedly do not possess relevant documentation for the origin and regular distribution in Kosovo, and achieves the value of around 800 thousand euros.
“After the incident's identity, the Prosecutor-in-law has been announced by the Basic Prosecutor in Pristina, who has authorised the enterprise of further procedure actions. By his authorisation, persons suspected of ownership of goods are being interviewed, while the found goods are being inventoryd and confiscated, to be transported later to Kosovo Customs depots. Kosovo customs remains committed to combating smuggling and protecting the legitimate market in the Republic of Kosovo”, Dogan's report said.
