Asked about the fact that five European Union countries still do not recognise Kosovo's independence, the Albanian prime minister replied that five out of 27 states constitute a small number and show that the overwhelming majority has acknowledged the reality.
This is not about weakness, it's about accepting the fact that reality has changed. Like all other peoples of the former Yugoslavia found their way and became independent, Albanians had the right to self-rule. Of course, this should be accompanied by good co-operation and harmonious relations with minorities.
