Court rejects charges against Fikrim Damka

Under the court's ruling, in the case initiated by the Kosovo Special Prosecutor for Criminal Work “misusing official task”, it was found that the claims raised do not rely on sufficient evidence.
The court reviewed the indictment prepared by the prosecution under investigation for the case and concluded that there are not enough grounds for continuing the criminal procedure.
The decision published on February 16th 2026 is said to have accepted objections submitted by Damka's lawyer, Artan Kerkin, as well as by the lawyer of the other accused in this case, Besim Camberaj, Burim Azem, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope
According to the court ruling, the prosecution's indictment of July 4, 2025, by number PPPS.r.76/2023, has been rejected by the court. Due to lack of evidence, the entire criminal process against the accused has been terminated.
The court document notes that the charges brought against Damka have no legal basis, so the case has been closed without entering into the investigation of the case's merits.
With that decision, the trial process against Damka is considered complete. /Periscope/
