According to MINT, inspectors are on the ground to convey the prices of ups until after price freezes.

MINIT says that according to official data provided by Customs evidence, the average import price for oil derivatives on Saturday has been the following: Oil: $1.40/liter Benzie: 1.14 $/ly

Meanwhile, based on monitoring conducted on the local market from Saturday to now, prices displayed for consumers at retail points result as follows:

Oil (Dusel): From 1.39 to 1.55 $/litre, gasoline: from $1.27 to $1.32/lyter;

The Central Market Supervisor Inspectorate, near the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Trade, and Innovation, announces public opinion that, within the framework of continued monitoring of the oil derivative market, it is implementing intensive supervision in terms of implementation of the interim price adjustment decision and the appointment of other safeguard clauses signed by Minister Mrs. Mimoza Kusari Lila, dated 04.03.26, with the aim of consumer protection, increased transparency, the protection of fair competition, and the avoidance of market disorders.
Also, the Kosovo Tax Administration's Central Market Oversight Inspectorate is conducting data analysis concerning import prices and prices exposed to consumers on the local market.
According to official data provided by Customs evidence, the average import price for oil derivatives on Saturday (days: 07.03.26), has been as follows:
1. Oil: $1.40/ly;
2. Benzien: 1.14 $/liter;
Meanwhile, based on monitoring conducted on the local market from Saturday to now, prices displayed for consumers at retail points result as follows:
1. Oil (Dizel): from $1.39 to 1.55 $/ly;
2. Bensine: from $1.27 to $1.32;
Based on the decision of the date 04.03.26 for the provisional adjustment of prices and the appointment of other safeguard clauses, the maximum trade margin allowed as follows is set:
Two (2) eurocents per litre of product sold in abundance, and
Twelve eurocents per litre of retail product.
Trade margins means the difference between the sale price and the supply price.
Central Market Oversight Inspector has been on the ground during the weekend even during the days of last week, The IQMT will continue to monitor and inspect developments in the oil derivative market as well as inspections in measurement equipment, along with Kosovo Customs, the Kosovo Tax Administration, as well as the Kosovo Competition Authority. Thus, in all cases where eventual irregularities are identified, such as disrespecting the decision of the margin or practices that could harm competition and consumers, there will be rigorous measures to be taken with legislation in effect.
