Victims were confirmed at 9:30 in the morning, according to the US's eastern time, on March 1st.
According to the announcement, several other members have suffered minor wounds from explosive chips, and currently, their return to office is being assessed.
“Situate is dynamic”, the US Central Command statement said.
Out of respect for families, the statement follows, identities of murdered soldiers will not be published until 24 hours after the closest family members have been announced.
Major combat operations are under way, reported as well.
