The Kosovo Energy Corporation has announced that the A5 unit of the Kosova A thermal power plant has returned to operation.

According to the announcement, the A5 unit's restoration was made after the successful sancing of leaks presented days ago, fulfilling all technical and security conditions for continuing regular operation.

KEK has indicated that, currently, the Kosova A thermal power plant operates with three active generation units.
