The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo has applied for the appointment of the detention measure to the person with the M.O. initials, under legal procedures for international judicial co-operation.

According to the official announcement, the request has been made in accordance with the Law on International Jury Co-operation and has to do with ensuring the suspect's presence before justice authorities, before the extradition request is officially accepted.
The request for detention has been submitted to the Constitutional Court in Pristina, which is expected to decide on the move towards the person.
