The trial against former KLA leaders, Gucati: I hope they're released.

The chairman of the KLA War Veterans' Organisation, Hysni Gucati, has commented on the introduction of the trial process in The Hague to former KLA leaders in the final phase of the word, expressing the expectation that, according to him, the verdict be liberating and sharply criticising the indictment, prosecution and functioning of the court.

He has declared for EO that on February 9th the final words of the parties will begin, while stressing that he expects justice to be established during May, voicing hope that the former KLA leaders will be released and will return to families and society in Kosovo.

He has stressed that prosecution and representatives of the victims, according to him, will seek sentences, but has added that he expects judges to make a decision he describes as right to KLA.

Furthermore, Gucati has criticised the approach of the accused and the functioning of the court, saying that procedures and prison regulations have been violated over the years and that there is continued supervision during visits.
