Suspected of counterfeiting over $19,000, detention required against two Palestinians in Kosovo

The foundation prosecutor at Ferizaj has requested the appointment of the detention measure against defendants: M.O. and Mr. N. ,- Palestinian citizens, due to suspicion of criminal activity “Forging money”. According to the request filed by the prosecution, there is suspicion based on that at 06.02.2026, around 7:30, at the point of derivatives “Balkan Petrol” in the Ferizaj magistrate. [...]
According to the prosecution's request, there is doubt based on that at 06.02.2026, around 7:30, at the site of the derivatives “Balkan Petrol” in the Pristina magistrate Ferizaj, namely, in the village of Prelez of Jerlive, the M.O. defendant, deliberately knowing she has put counterfeit money in circulation as a true, with what she has done in the criminal work “Money forged”
And also, according to the Prosecutor, to defendants M.O., and Mr.N., there is a suspicion based on that at 07.02.2026, on R. “Skenderbetu” in Kacanik, the same in co-ordination have owned counterfeit money in order to get the same ones into circulation as the truth, so that after police control of the apartment, thirty-nine (39) banknotes out of $50, totaling $19,500, which are suspected to be forged, in which case they've been seized by police, with what they've done in the joint criminal work “Money forged”
The two defendants, with the State Prosecutor's decision, are under the 48-hour ban on high-profile criminal acts.
