The session begins on Nagip Krasniqi, what the witness said

The Pristina Foundation Court is holding a court hearing against former KEK chief executive Nagip Krasniqi.

The testimony of witness Arjeta Saraqi, economist at KEK, will be heard at the hearing, as state lawyers, in the quality of the damaged side, missed this judicial review.

The prosecutor in the case, Fikrije Zejrullahu, asked Saraqi if she remembered the content of the testimony she gave to the prosecutor about three years ago.

Saraqi stated before the court that her duties in Krasniqi's cabinet have been based on the work description, which coincides with managing KEK chief's activities.

Responding to the prosecutor's questions, Saraqi claimed he did not know Isuf Zamen, and was unaware of his report with Krasniqi.

On the other hand, Krasniqi's lawyer several times opposed the prosecutor's approach Fejzullahu and the manner of putting forward questions about the witness. We recall that at the January 15th session, prosecutor Feyzulah stated that, after the trial management, the complete dawn of the actual situation and the trial of the accused will be achieved.

On 30 December 2024, the Special Prosecutor filed the new indictment against former head of the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK), Nagip Krasniqi, as well as Ymer Dragusha and Isuf Zamena. Nagip Krasniqi and Ymer Dragusha are charged with “Use of official task”.

Krasniqi is also charged with “Statement of official secrecy”. On the other hand, Isuf Zeynep is charged with “Help in carrying out the criminal offence of official task”./Periscopi/
