Situated near the Iranian border, located 19 miles [98 km] from the town center and surrounded by high mountains, the neighbourhood is experiencing the harshest winter of recent years.
Residents of the 80 - house neighborhood where snow storms and heavy snowfall are constantly effective, spend much of the day fighting snow and caring for their animals.
The long winter and the depth of snow that reaches a few feet [1 m] make life difficult for neighborhood residents, since the road, which runs along the slopes of high mountains and has 18 drops threatened by avalanches, is constantly closed.
Sometimes blocked for days, residents, even when the road is open, can reach the center of the town to meet their needs only by passing through snow piles that reach 8 to 9 feet [8 - 9 m] high in avalanche - prone points. /Periscope
