Problems even with recounting, Prizren's Prosecutor interviewed 51 people and stopped 9 for counterfeiting election results in Dragas

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren said that in co-operation with the Police, investigations with self-initiation for counterfeiting the election results in Dragas have been initiated, interviewing 51 persons, of whom 9 for 48 hours have been detained.

The move, said, came “following the acceptance of public information regarding the process of recounting the results of the vote, at the Municipal Counting Centre at Dragas” and “authorisation of the Chief Prosecutor of the Founding Prosecutor in Prizren, Petrit Kryeziu”.

After authorisation by the prosecution and under this investigation, fifty-one suspects have been interviewed. Nine (9) of them after the interview, at the order of the State Prosecutor, have been detained for 48 hours in the quality of commission leaders, due to suspicion given that they committed criminal work “Forging the results of the vote” by Article 216 par.2 of KPRK”, the prosecution's announcement reported.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren said that “within the legal deadlines would assess the preamble of the request regarding the provision for ensuring the presence of defendants in procedure”.
