Progress Rama, the head of Pristina, said the first classes on 16 February will be dedicated to honouring the Kosovo Liberation Army.
This is on the eve of the anniversary of Kosovo's independence and the process in The Hague against former KLA leaders, for which a nationwide, supportive march will be held.
Rama's post:
) In the city, first class in honor of the KLA! Reflect on our history and state responsibility!
On the eve of the 18th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo, in all public schools in the capital, the first teaching hour of February 16th will be dedicated to the history, role and sacrifice of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK).
As the capital, we have an institutional and moral obligation to cultivate respect for our history, sacrifice, and ideals in new generations.
Historical memory is the foundation of identity and respect for citizenship!
