Osmani starts consultations with parties for the Peace Board, Abdixhiku goes first, gives full support

Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku announced a meeting with President Vjosa Osmani, who said it took place at her invitation.

Osmani appears thus to have started consultations with political parties for the Peace Board after days ago threw the signing on Kosovo's behalf to become a member.

The LDK head said they spoke of the latest “political and international developments”.

At the invitation of President Vjosa Osmani, today I met with him to discuss recent political and international developments of importance to Kosovo. At this meeting, I was informed of President Donald Trump's initiative to establish the Peace Board; an initiative aimed at strengthening stability, dialogue and peace -- and strengthening Kosovo's international position”, Obadiah said in a Facebook post.

He said he expressed the full support of the Democratic League of Kosovo for this” initiative to Osmani.

“Strengthening peace, alliances, in particular with the United States, and Kosovo's international role should be our priority. The LDK remains committed to Euro-Atlantic orientation and close co-operation with our strategic allies”, he wrote./Periscopi/
