Teacher Naser Dragusha has been sentenced to an 800-euro fine for physical violence against students.
In the Pristina Foundation Court ruling, the branch in Fushe Kosovo, he is said to have deliberately used physical force against school students “Ibrahim Rugova” in Obilic.
Jhafer Haziri, one of the school's parents, says he will not appeal the court's decision.
However, he considers that to some extent the goal has been achieved, because the educator, according to him, has been through a very violent career, and that is the worst of the institutional support he had, starting with school officials, the municipal education directorate and then the education inspectorate sector, reports Rtk.
Despite confirming the violence that followed with a fine sentence, the teacher has continued his job but has moved to another school.
This was confirmed by Fatmire Kastrati é Medici, head of the school “back Rugova”.
The teacher does not follow our lesson, since the municipal education management has transferred him to another school. Our joy is that the student is regular in school, and everything is going towards normal for the student, because above all is his well-being”, she said.
Meanwhile, the student to whom violence had been exerted had remained out of school for weeks, as according to his parent, the school principal, Ali Nimani, had also been involved.
Parents charge him, saying he was in defense of the already convicted educator and taking revenge on their children attacked at school, which the deputy director denies.
Nimani, denying the accusations, said there is no comment. “Even when it was filed as a case, it has been addressed to police bodies, without announcing the school, so I have no comment when it ended up as the”, he said. /rtk
